The extension does not collect, store, transmit, sell, or share any personal information or user data. It has no servers, no analytics, and no tracking. All processing happens locally in your browser, and files are saved only to your own device.

What the extension accesses

When you are on a Pinterest board page and you click Scan / Download, the extension:

Reads the list of pins saved to the board you are currently viewing, using Pinterest's own board endpoints (the same requests Pinterest's website already makes), authenticated by your existing Pinterest login session.
Identifies the original-quality image or video file for each pin.
Saves the files you select to your computer's Downloads folder, in a subfolder named after the board.

This activity only runs on Pinterest pages, and only when you initiate it.

What the extension does NOT do

It does not send any data (board content, browsing history, personal information, or anything else) to the developer or any third party.
It does not use cookies, analytics, advertising, or tracking of any kind.
It does not read or collect data from non-Pinterest websites.
It does not store your personal data. Downloaded files live only on your device.

Permissions and why they are needed

downloads — to save the selected image/video files to your computer. This is the extension's core function.
Host access to *.pinterest.com (and Pinterest country domains) — so the extension can run on board pages and read the list of pins on the board you are viewing. No other websites are accessed.

Data sharing

None. No user data is collected, so none is sold, transferred, or shared with anyone. The extension's use of any data is limited to providing its single purpose (downloading a board's pins to your device) and complies with the Chrome Web Store Developer Program Policies, including the Limited Use requirements.

Your content & copyright

Images and videos on Pinterest belong to their respective creators. This extension is a tool for downloading content you have the right to use. You are responsible for complying with Pinterest's Terms of Service and applicable copyright law.
